Nursing care for HIV clients: A case study. การพยาบาลผู้ป่วยติดเชื้อเอชไอวี : กรณีศึกษา

บทคัดย่อ

          This article aims to present the nursing care for a case study of patient with HIV infection. The functional health pattern of Gordon was used to assess the health status of patient for planning a holistic nursing care including the physical, mental, psychosocial and spirit aspects
The nursing process consisted of problem assessment, nursing diagnosis leading to nursing plan, nursing implementation and nursing evaluation associated with patient problem.
          This case study suggested that the care of the patient with HIV infection should be provided by multidisciplinary team for the patient preparedness covering all dimensions as a holistic care and continuous monitoring towards an antiretroviral therapy to gain the better quality of life.
