บทคัดย่อ

ABSTRACT

          The purpose of this survey research were to study the personal, supportive andpsychosocialfactors and the performance of village health volunteers (VHVs) and to study the behavior predicting factors affected the practices of VHVsin epidemiological surveillance implementation according to the guideline of surveillance and rapid response team (SRRT) in sub-district network level. Two hundred and sixty samples were systemic randomized. Data were collected using a questionnaire which was examined for the content validity by 3 experts. The reliability analyzed by the Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was 0.87. Data were collected from November 1 to 30, 2016. Data were analyzed using the percentage, mean, standard deviation, median and stepwise multiple regression analysis.

          The results found that 82.3% of the samples were females.Their average age was 44.89 years old. Of 56.2% had completed primary school and 77.7% were married. Their average income was 7,182.31 baht per month. Of 50.4% was agriculture occupation. The average duration being VHVwas 12.88 years. Thepracticallysupportive factorwastotallyat a high level (average = 3.50). The psychosocial factor wastotally at a high level (average = 3.93). The performance of VHV was totally at a high level (average = 4.00). The psychosocial factor; social support from public health personnel, family and neighbors, the practically supportive factor; management aspect and the psychosocial factor; the relationship between VHVs and people, local leaders and public health personnel altogether had 8.2% of prediction for thepracticing behavior of VHVs in epidemiological surveillance implementation according to the guideline of SRRT in sub-district network level.
