Abstract

Cross-cultural skills are one of 21 century student outcomes. According to cultural competence of nursing profession, it is very importance to challenge for nursing education. This article prosented defini-tion of culture and cultural competence. The authors indicated 3 practice guidelines for improve nursing education: (1) integrating cultural concept in to nursing curriculum, (2) adding course of cultural compe-tence into the curriculum, and (3) research and development for enhancement culturally competence of nursing instructors, nursing students, organization, and interdisciplinary education.
